Tutu Theatre has been providing dancers around the world with professionally made classical ballet tutus and costumes for over 10 years. 

Collectively, members of our team have 50 years of sewing experience, and many are fo rmer or current dancers, with decades of training from pre-professional ballet schools. This is why our goal is always to support the dancers wearing our costumes by providing them with a high quality costume that looks beautiful, fits the role they are portraying, and most importantly, feels comfortable and secure so the dancer can perform their best onstage. 

Our founder and head designer is a retired professor from a northeast Ohio university where she specialized in teaching courses in basic and advanced sewing, principles of design, history of textiles, and dyeing and surface design after finishing coursework towards a masters degree.  She has also worked professionally for touring theatre shows and performers such as Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Art Garfunkel, Linda Davis and Kenny Rogers when they have performed locally.
