Tutu Theatre custom-made bodices can be made of many different fabrics. Generally these fabrics are bengalines, waterfailles, moires, brocades, silk dupionis, and velveteens, just to name a few! 

The closures on our bodices are steel hooks and bars, which are easy to use for quick changes, and are strong, ensuring that they stay closed when the dancer is performing.  These bodices can have optional spiral steel boning along some of the front seams or panels for added support. 

Bodices can be made to match the tutu or skirt that you are ordering, or if you need a bodice to match a costume that you already have, we can work with you to create one.
