Custom Tiaras & Headpieces

Most ballet roles have some sort of headpiece, whether it is an intricate tiara for a principal role, or a simpler tiara or floral headpiece for corps de ballet roles. Some roles, such as The Nutcracker Prince and the Mouse King of The Nutcracker ballet call for masks that cover the dancer’s head.

As with many of our items, pricing depends on the complexity of your order. Please use our Custom Order Inquiry Form to discuss your needs.

Tiaras

Our Tiaras are made with Swarovski crystals on a wire frame. We create all of them from the frame up, meaning that the customer can have a custom design that can fit their needs. Many tiara designs can be made using different colors of Swarovski crystals, so they can be used for different roles.

They can easily be pinned to the dancer’s head using the nylon horsehair band that we paint to match the color of the dancer’s hair.

Headpieces

We make several different varieties of headpieces.  Fascinator style headpieces can be pinned onto the dancer’s head in any location. Around the bun headpieces are wrapped around the dancer’s bun and pinned in place. We also make the classical Swan Lake headpiece using feather hackle pads. Our headpieces are constructed using a variety of materials including flowers, feathers, laces, and rhinestones. They are built on a base shape of felt, canvas, horsehair, or buckram so that they can be easily pinned to the dancer’s hair.
